Arkansas National Guard & Reserve VA Loan Benefits
Eligibility for Guard and Reserve members
Arkansas National Guard and Reserve members qualify for VA home loan benefits after completing 6 years of service or being called to active duty for 90+ days under specific orders. Post-9/11 eligibility rules have expanded access; check with a VA-experienced originator for your specific case.
Certificate of Eligibility
Request your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) through eBenefits, or ask your originator to pull it via WebLGY — the originator path is faster. Guard and Reserve members may need supplemental service documentation; NGB 22 is typically what the VA wants.
Entitlement
Guard and Reserve eligibility entitles you to the same VA benefits as active-duty veterans — zero down, no PMI, assumable loans, limited funding fee. Disability-rated members may have the funding fee waived entirely.
